School canceled for 11,500 Nashua, N.H., students after weekend threat of attack

Cancelling school seems prudent in this case.  How do you deal with the threats that are just as real, but the only announcement is the first shots?

“We felt that given the specificity of the threat and the fact it was referencing our two high schools, which represent a third of our district, we would close all of our schools to be on the conservative side for safety today,” Nashua Superintendent Mark Conrad told The Washington Post Monday morning.
